This weekend, Jane and I embarked on our first ever 2-day baking project: cinnamon rolls. It was also the first time I’d ever worked with yeast. Yesterday we made the dough and let it rise, then flattened it into a rectangle and let it rise again in the fridge overnight. Then this morning we rolled it out thinner, spread the filling over, rolled it up, baked, and frosted. We’re pretty pleased with ourselves. Jane said, “I’m so glad we made these.”
