Jane brought one of her ocean books to school to share this morning. It’s got lots of pictures of dolphins (her class mascot) and as each child arrived today she said “I’ve got a big surprise—close your eyes!” and then she’d unveil the page with all the dolphins (although I think the pages above show whales).
