These were taken from inside my office upstairs, through the screen on my window, paparazzi-style, so forgive the quality. But I was happy to catch Jane, who thought she was outside of my view and all alone in the backyard, climbing up onto the “big-kid” swing and teaching her self to swing!

Saturday morning scene

All the parents had to make bridges out of different materials last night at “Back to School Night” and then today the kids got to go over and under them

August really wanted to give Jane a hug goodbye after school yesterday and she was absolutely not going for it!

Phew! School went a little better today. I was gone the whole time and just peeked in to check on Jane a couple of times per the teacher’s recommendation and she was too busy to even give me the time of day

Happy weekend! I’m off to the park with Papa
